ABOUT MAKILING AIKIDO International Inc.

Makiling Aikido International Inc. is a unified group of dojos established to instruct students who are willing to learn and practice traditional Aikido according to the teachings and ideals of its founder O'Sensei - Morihei Ueshiba and the Aikikai Foundation.

Makiling Aikido International, Inc. is duly registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with SEC Registration Number 200816080.

HISTORY OF MAKILING AIKIDO International Inc.

The name Makiling was taken from the name of the mountain MT. MARIA MAKILING located at Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. After years of practice in the Makati Aikido Club, Xavier Baylon Sensei established Makiling Southside Aikido dojo in 1992 located at Las Piñas City, Philippines. Expanding ever since, Makiling Aikido International has been training and producing Yudanshas who have established their own dojos and continue to propagate the art and spirit of Aikido locally and abroad.
